Therapy Tailored to You

You don’t need a diagnosis or a clear explanation to begin — just curiosity, honesty, and the desire for things to feel different

How We’ll Work Together

Every client is different, which is why I take an integrative approach. Depending on your needs and preferences, I may draw on:

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)
Psychodynamic approaches
Mindfulness-based practices

We’ll start with an initial assessment to understand what’s bringing you to therapy and what you’re hoping to get from it. From there, we’ll agree on a way of working that feels right for you — whether that’s short-term, focused work or longer-term exploration.

  • I came to therapy feeling completely burnt out. Through our sessions, I’ve been able to set boundaries, rediscover my values, and make changes that actually feel good. It’s been such a relief

Frequently Asked Questions

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I’ll ask some questions to understand what’s bringing you to therapy, your current challenges, and what you’re hoping for. You’re welcome to ask questions too — there’s no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable with.

That depends on your goals and situation. Some people benefit from short-term therapy (6–12 sessions), while others choose longer-term work. We’ll regularly review how things are going so we can make sure therapy continues to feel helpful.

Yes — everything you share in therapy is confidential. The only exceptions are if there’s a serious risk of harm to yourself or others, or if I’m legally required to share information. I’ll always try to discuss this with you first, wherever possible.

Yes, I offer sessions online via a secure video platform, as well as in-person appointments in [Location, if applicable]. Online therapy can be just as effective as face-to-face, and offers greater flexibility.

Sessions are [XX] for 50 minutes. I ask for [24/48] hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule — otherwise, the full session fee may be charged. Concessions may be available depending on circumstances — please feel free to ask.
